Creative Creation

I strongly believe in using my resources to become a better teacher - which is why Pinterest, blogs and TpT have transformed my life. The most recent brilliant idea I stumbled upon was a DIY pocket chart made from materials most teacher have laying around! Major perks? I could customize it to my hearts content AND is was basically free to make - no way am I paying $15 for a small pocket chart when I can make one myself for fractions of a dollar!

The pocket chart was made with an over sized file folder used to for holding scrapbook paper. My intended use for the pocket chart was to hold 4th grade Common Core "I Can" statements with the standards. The chart needs some touch up - I ran out of double sided tape half-way through, but I'm beyond pleased with the result and cannot wait to make more!
